都会で暮らすアーティストのリズは、医師である恋人のマルコムに誘われ、彼が所有する山荘にやってくる。マルコムとの交際1周年を記念するこの旅行はリズにとって特別なものとなるはずだったが、到着後まもなく彼女は幻覚に苛まれていく。翌日、マルコムが病院に呼びだされ、山荘に1人取り残されたリズを、さらなる幻覚と得体のしれないなにかの気配が襲う。
