強盗事件での服役を終えたアンカーが15年ぶりに兄のマンフレルと再会する。しかし、久しぶりに会ったマンフレルは、事件の際にアンカーから預かっていた大金の隠し場所を忘れてしまっただけでなく、自分のことをジョン・レノンだと思い込んでいた。森に埋められているはずの大金を掘り起こすため、生まれ育った田舎の実家を訪れた2人だったが、彼らの旅路は思わぬ珍客たちによって混乱の一途を辿ることとなる。
